Meet the artist behind our tea packaging beauties

When you pick up one of our herbal teas, you’ll notice beautiful, hand-drawn women gracing each package - each one with her own unique energy and quote. These women were brought to life by the incredibly talented Hannah from Studio Kumimi.
Hannah is an illustrator and founder of her own creative studio based in Cologne, Germany, where she fills the world with charm, color, and empowerment through her art. She also runs her own webshop, where you can find more of her beautiful work - think stickers, postcards, prints, and other treasures that will truly brighten your day! And recently, she opened her own colorful papeterie & gift shop in Cologne called Kumimi & Co., where she sells her creations alongside other small labels. The cozy space is full of cute finds - and it’s even breastfeeding-friendly, which we absolutely love.
But that’s not all - Hannah also holds a master’s degree in psychology, and wrote her thesis on the menstrual cycle, a topic close to many of our hearts. Her deep understanding of the female body and mind shines through in her work, and we honestly couldn’t imagine a more perfect artist to collaborate with on our teas.
At our core, we believe in lifting up other women, and in celebrating the magic that happens when women create for women ✊👭💖
We loved working with Hannah and asked her 3 quick questions!
What was your inspiration when drawing the women for our tea packages?
When designing the women for the tea packages, it was important to me that they felt inclusive and representative of real bodies. I wanted to move away from the narrow beauty standards we often see and instead celebrate the diversity of women’s bodies.
So I focused on drawing different body shapes, a range of skin tones, and small details that make bodies unique - like stretch marks. To me, those details are beautiful and tell a story. I wanted each woman to feel individual, strong, and comfortable in her own skin.
Do you have a favorite tea from the collection?
It’s honestly hard to choose just one! I love how each tea is thoughtfully created to support a different phase of the menstrual cycle. The idea that each phase has its own needs, energy, and rhythm is something I find really beautiful.
What I especially enjoy is how the teas invite you to slow down and tune into your body throughout the month. Each blend feels like a small moment of care and support, so in that sense they all feel special in their own way.
What does a cozy tea moment look like for you?
A cozy tea moment can look a little different depending on the season, but it always involves slowing down. Sometimes it means curling up on the couch with a good book and a warm cup of tea. Other times it’s reading books with my kids and sharing a quiet moment together. And on some days, it’s meeting a friend at a café and chatting away for hours.

And next time you make a cup of tea, take a moment to connect with the woman on your package - she’s there to remind you how beautiful and powerful you are ✨💕
